Matthew's 3rd Birthday

We threw Matthew a Monster Birthday Party for his 3rd birthday! It was all decked out in eyeballs and monsters galore! He was so excited about his birthday this year and told me just what he wanted. Matthew is a very busy guy! He is loving and kind. He loves to play with his brothers or as he calls them his boys. He has lots of energy and helps with his "Brooklie Lou!" Matthew is very inquisitive and loves to explore. He gets into about everything and keeps me running around in circles most the time. We sure love having Matthew! He is lots of fun and gives everyone hugs and kisses. He likes to make sure Mommy is happy. We say "you are trouble with a capital T" and he says "No, I Matt-chew!" Thanks for making life so new!

Putting on the whole armor

We had a family home evening lesson on the armor of God found in Ephesians chapter 6. Taylor made himself the whole armor including a shield (not pictured) out of paper with a little creative kick to it. It turned out great and he actually was paying attention to what we were teaching him! We love our kids' creative sides. They make life so much more fun!

A sweet 4 months

Brooklyn is growing and learning new things each day. She holds her head up, rolls over a bit from front to back, laughs when she thinks something is funny, and sleeps through the night. Brooklyn is a very happy baby. She rarely cries unless she is tired or hungry. She really loves people. She has such a gentle sweet spirit about her. At her 4 month checkup she weighed 15 lbs 4 oz and was 25 3/4 inches, a good size baby. She loves her bottle and tried a little rice cereal on Friday which she wasn't quite into yet. We'll try again soon. I love getting her dressed every morning in her cute little clothes, my own little baby doll. She loves bath time and being rubbed with lotion, a little baby massage. She is very ticklish and giggles every time you tickle her under her chin! She loves her daddy and follows him with her eyes as soon as he enters the room. She does tend to be a mama's girl! Brooklyn is very loved and enjoys most of the attention she gets from her brothers. She is very fond of Katelyn and will go to her without any hesitation if mommy is busy. We sure love having Brooklyn in our home. She is quite a blessing to our family.
