Grandma is in town and took the girls thrift shopping. These are their finds! Katelyn had a blast coming up with an outfit. She is becoming a little bit of a diva! Aliyah, Rylee and Lizzie loved it too! There is nothing like a little girl time and a cute accessory to brighten your day!

Memorial Day Weekend 2013
My Aunt Donna Sue came down to visit followed by Richard & Kimi, Mike & Jen with their two little ones, Bryan & Kara and their three little ones plus Ben & Katie for a weekend visit. It was great to see all of them. We had a little potluck and got to catch up a little bit. We love when family comes to visit!

Taylor's summertime do
Since it's summer and Mohawks are out of the question for school, I let Taylor have a fun haircut until his dad raises a stink! He looks like a punk but better stay the sweet boy I know he is!
Playing at the park
I finally took the plunge! I've borrowed a cell phone at one time right before I gave birth to Matthew and when I was pregnant with Brooklyn but now I own a cell phone. Zack has had one for pretty much the whole time we've been together but I decided with Katelyn babysitting and all the benefits of owning a cell phone I needed to just do it. Of course, I went with all the bells and whistles so I got the smart phone. So far its convenient, it's fun but more of a toy than a necessity. Is that a bad thing? I don't know yet but I enjoy the conveniences and having a camera with me at all times has some real perks! Oh, my sisters are pretty excited about the texting capabilities. These pictures are brought to you via Samsung Galaxy3.

Dashten Cameron Turnbow
Introducing our newest Turnbow cousin Dashten Cameron Turnbow! Cameron and Jennifer finally got their little caboose. We've been waiting for this guy to arrive for a very long time and it was worth the wait! He's such a sweet little man.
Newest WEBELOS Scout
Taylor is thrilled to be a WEBELOS now! His very first activity he got to attend was a WEBELOS day hike. I really appreciate the cub scout program!

Student of the Year!!!
My Katelyn was awarded the Student of the Year at her school. She came home with a certificate and a check for $40! She always works so hard in all she does but this was pretty amazing. I am one proud mama! The crazy thing is I found the stuff just sitting on the counter. This girl hadn't even made a big deal out of her award or anything. I made a big deal about it though! Every needs to know what an awesome and hard worker Katelyn is! She is amazing! She made her parents proud!

Zack turns 35!!!
It took a team of highly skilled people to make sure all the candles were lit on Zack's birthday cake. 35 is no laughing matter! Hehehe!!! We love Zack and all he does for our family. He is a great person who loves and cares without end. Thanks for picking me!
Spring Piano Recital
These two kiddos have worked really hard doing piano this past year and it shows in their recitals. They both did a great job! Katelyn has decided to continue with piano and learn all she can. It makes me so excited that she finally sees the benefits of the piano in her life. They have actually had her play a couple times while she is in Young Womens. Taylor has been working hard to learn it and asks Katie questions when he struggles on a piece. They are good kids and it shows!

A Frog Party and a Hopping Good time!
William had a frog party for his 8th birthday party. There is a park here in town where there are lots of frogs which William loves! We went crazy with the frog theme! I made frog invitations that had the actual announcement on the frogs tongue.
Matthew helped me find a frog piƱata at the party store which we filled with lots of yummy treats especially sour ones. William loves sour candies! We played a treasure hunt game where the kids found frogs all over the park. We had frog cupcakes that were yummy and super cute.
We tried leap frog but tag worked out better with all these kids. The kids even went over to the little stream and collected tadpoles. Later on we had my family join us for dinner plus more partying for William. William was showered with lots of gifts and had a great time!
We are so thankful for our William and all the life he brings to our home!

PVHS Talent Show hosted by Zack
It's time once again for the annual PVHS talent show and who's hosting this year? Why none other than Mr. Alvey. Zack gets such a kick out of the school assemblies at Pine View. The talent show is his all time favorite one. The big hoorah before the end of the year! He had it set up like the Jimmy Fallon late night show. The kids loved it too! He included the jazz band in all their little skits and jokes. Mr. Candland is a great sport too. Zack had a student with a good announcer voice help him out with several little goofy things throughout the routine. He even finished things out with a punk band that sang a song just about his classes, "Alveyworld."

Our little William turns 8!
This kid is a spitfire! He loves attention and has more energy than one little body can contain! William is smart, friendly, emotional, energetic, loving and a whole lot more! He can make you laugh and scream in the same breath. William keeps us in stitches. He loves an audience! He is thrilled to be old enough to get baptized like his older sister and brother. We are so thankful for William in our lives.

Joshua's Kindergarten Graduation
Joshua has had a great year in kindergarten. He has learned so many new things. He knows how to read, add, subtract, make new friends and play well with others. Joshua's teacher Mrs. Mathews has been wonderful. She is a great teacher! We will sorely miss her and the other great teachers here at Sandstone Elementary. We are so proud of Joshua and all his hard work!

Taylor's Baseball birthday
We celebrated Taylor by having all the family attend his baseball game including cupcakes and then heading over to our house to open presents since it was so windy! He was thrilled to have everyone watch him play. Grandpa & Grandma, TJ, Cameron & Jennifer plus kiddos, Tim stopped by with Jaerick too and Aunt Kelsey was even able to join in the fun. He really has enjoyed baseball this year! Taylor has really grown up this past year. He is not a little kid. Ten years is quite a big deal! He's much more into his friends, food and air soft guns now. Taylor is incredibly loving with his baby sister and is always helping with her. He is a good example to his younger siblings and drives his older sister crazy. A boy's job is never done! He had a great day and loved all the birthday wishes!
