The boys are very into faux hawks and decided to make one on Brooklyn. She's such a good sport. Silly brothers!!! At least they want to share in the fun, right?!?

Madison Claire Bonewell

 

Our newest family member, Madison Claire, joined the Bonewell crew this morning! Congrats Brandon and Goldie! Good work mama! She's a keeper!

Joshua's 1st day of kindergarten

Joshua finally got to school like all the other kids! He was so excited for his first day of school, the early morning wake up, asking every few minutes if it's time to leave and all. They are starting out with colors. Each day they wear the color of the day and have a treat to correspond with the color. We are going to be doing black the Tuesday after labor day, Joshua gets to bring oreos! He's pretty excited! It will be a little quieter without him home with us all day. He is great at helping with his younger siblings but he has been anticipating this day since the week of his birthday, in January. Good luck in school little man! You'll do great!

Awsten's baptism

We attended our nephew, Awsten's baptism and then celebrated him at good old Chuck-a-rama! It was a very special occasion for the family. Way to go Awsten!

A new school year!

I had glorious plans of a group picture with all of the kids beaming on the first day of school but when Katelyn left for school at 7:15am no one but her and Zack were even trying to get out of bed! This grown up stuff is coming way too early if you ask me!

Katelyn is 11 years old and now a bonified 6th grader in Intermediate school no more Elementary for her. She was thrilled to be attending school and is growing up way too fast!

Taylor is 9 years old and a 4th grader, he is loving the routine of school again! He actually really enjoys school and hanging out with all his buddies there. Pizza every Friday doesn't hurt either!

William is 7 years old and starting 1st grade. He was super nervous but after his dad gave him a blessing the night before school started he said he was just excited now!

Joshua is 5 years old and starting kindergarten. He is so thrilled to be going to school! He had kindergarten testing the first day and will be officially starting next Wednesday but he's still beaming.

Swimming Party

Talk about a fun night! The older two have been going to an orthodonist who loves to spoil his patients! We attended their annual Patient Appreciation Party including frozen treats, games galore, prizes, a photo booth with props and swimming. Taylor even had the pleasure of dunking the orthodontist in the dunk take on his first try! Matthew won a movie package including lots of treats and $20 in movie passes! We had a great time and the kids slept great after so much fun.

Brooklyn is 10 months old

This spunky little miss is getting so BIG! Our sweet little Brooklyn is crawling everywhere, causing lots of messes and keeps everyone on their toes! She loves to jabber and squeal and jabber some more. She is able to say mama, dada, papa, baba (bottle), tatie (Katie), hey, Eeee (emily - Katie's friend), hi, keep (helping Grandpa with packing), stinky and yes. She is mimicking everyone and everything. She loves to sing!

She is great at making mayhem, she now empties about every drawer, bag, cupboard and closet in the house. Brooklyn does not like heights and avoids the stairs. She is a little fishy and loves to splash in the water. She is still quite obsessed with her best buddy Katie! Brooklyn has quite the little personality and likes what she likes. Brooklyn has a big heart and loves everyone. She is still quite the cuddler! We sure love our baby girl!

Brooklyn and Reed

Charles and Eric made a short stop to visit us on their way to a 5 sibling wedding in Arizona. Brooklyn and Reed are so cute together. They have grown up so much in this past 10 months!

Looks like Katelyn has caught up to her Aunt Erica! This girl is getting tall; she's already 5'1'' and still growing like a weed!

Close cousins

Brooklyn and Reed are only 9 days apart! It is fun to watch these two little cousins interact with each other. Charles and Erica brought little Reed over to spend the night while heading over to Arizona for a wedding. I love how cute these two are together!

Moving my parents

 

This is my parents new home! We have pretty much spent the whole summer getting my parents ready for moving and now that they are moved in it is such a relief! They found a much smaller home that will be a lot easier to maintain in the Washington Fields area. They have all been rather resistant to the move but it should work out well for them in the end. The family all really tackled this project together. Sure there was family drama but what family doesn't have drama?!? A boring one that's for sure! I am thankful for my family and all that we do together!
