"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly." Our Latter-day Prophet Thomas S. Monson
My baby girl is growing up way to fast! She woke up this morning and got herself all dressed for the day. Some of its on backwards and its 100 degrees outside but she looks pretty cute! I was impressed!
Aunt Paige and Emily came down to southern Utah for a visit. We got to join them in Emily's birthday celebration! With a houseful of children we traveled over to the main street park to cool off and eat cake. The kids had a blast and we loved have our visitors! Happy Birthday Emily!
When I was growing up the kids were all scarce unless there were cookies or ice cream. Cookies and ice cream brought the kids in without much effort. Kids today like electronics. They seem to have a radar to them even the baby seems magnetized to it.
Stephanie's friend, Bobbie Jo threw a really cute shower for baby Somerville #2! The diaper motorcycle was my favorite. The chocolate dipped pretzels were pretty good too!
Brian and Kelsey came to town for a visit! We got everyone together as best we could and played! The kids all love having their cousins around! Joshua always says Oakley is his best friend so he loved being able to spend some time goofing around with him. Thanks for visiting! We wish you guys lived closer!
Since William's baptism is this weekend, we have a house full of people! As many as 20 people at once! It was fun and taught us how to be a little creative to say the least.
We played, read stories, got wet, visited and went on many walks.
What a wonderful experience for our family! William became the newest member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was baptized by his father, Zack at the Pine View Stake Center in the morning. William was blessed to have so many family members supporting him in his decision to be baptized. He was so thrilled! He could barely sleep the night before and was bouncing with excitement and nerves. We headed over to the park right after for some food and much needed family time. We are so thankful to all those who are such good influences on our children and their righteous decisions.
