Our New Playground

Well, it is finally finished!!! Z has been hard at work on getting the playground together minus last week. He is all done! It is a wonderful thing for the children. They have enjoyed watching and helping Z along the way. If anyone wants to come visit, we have plenty of entertainment for the little ones. Notice the three swings, the tire swing, two big slides, a climbing wall on the back, a rope ladder, a covered fort, and a sandbox. You couldn't want anything else. Well maybe the ground cover we're working on, it will be added shortly.
Playing in the sun!
Our little pool
The children love it to cool off with the temperatures so hot!
We went to the church welfare farm and picked apricots
Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves
W and J found large sticks to fight with and the older kids loved actually picking and dumping the apricots when their buckets were full. We thought it would be a great way to teach them the importance of service.

Your kids have gotten so big!! I love the new playground. We are sorely in need of something, but we will have to wait a year. Maybe tax returns next year :). Plus, I don't think our community would appreciate us taking up the tiny bit of grass we have with a swing set. Oh well, I guess that will come witha house.

Oh my gosh you guys have been busy!!! What you are pregnant??? Congrats. Rachel D just had a baby girl this morning. Now we are waiting for Katie G., Myrian A, Keri S to pop and then Kris C and Maryanne are expecting as well. It is insane how much the ward has changed since you have left. I feel like I don't have any friends anymore because people have told me that they think we are snobs now that we moved up the hill and the Hidden Valley people don't invite me to stuff anymore. Up here we are surrounded by older people with no kids or people like Candace H who is so busy she has no life...
