Katie's had been waiting the last few months to donate her hair to locks of love. She was rather determined but wanted to make sure her hair would be long enough to cut first. I was a little wishy-washy on the matter as she has been rather loving her long hair for quite sometime. It turned out rather cute after the cut and we'll get to try lots of new hairstyles along the way. I am proud of her dedication to this matter. She is a very giving little girl!

Annika donated hers last year. Hers was a little forced because she let her friend cut off a small piece hair that couldn't be hidden. I figured if we were cutting it we might as well make some good come of it. It ended up being a really good experience for her and something she is proud of now.
Kudos to Katelyn for wanting to do it all by herself.

Way to go! I never would have thought to do that when I was your age. I am growing my hair to donate, too. Seeing your cute new style makes me want to go out and cut it tomorrow.
